Deception – 6 women collective exhibition at Lascaris Wharf, February 2010

A DAZZLE ESCAPE “:… then she removed her skin and was reborn.”

Deception is an act to transmit beliefs that are not true or at least not the whole truth. It involves distraction and camouflage, where it obscures and breaks up the visual boundary of the object. Even in life when having half truths and therefore hiding it. When disguising an appearance to form the impression of being somebody or something else … as in a dazzle to escape. A distraction to get someone’s attention from the truth, in my thought it can happen to escape from reality, from lies and betrayal. Where one gets a placebo effect.
